STOP EVERYTHING. Sydney metalcore legends Polaris have announced the Vagabond tour to celebrate their new music video for 'Vagabond'. The tour will mark the band's first slew of live shows since February 2020 when we saw Polaris entirely sell out their headliner, The Death of Me tour before COVID-19 shut live music and the world down shortly after.
Drummer Daniel Furnari shares how 'Vagabond' perfectly sums up the band's life experiences over the past year and how fucking stoked they are to get back out on the road:
"It’s turned out to be kind of ironic that the lyrics of “Vagabond” mention this idea that “nowhere feels like home”, which was originally a reference to constantly being on the move when we were touring... But after the last year of being unable to tour and travel, there were a lot of times when our actual homes didn’t really feel like home either, because where we really wanted to be was out travelling the world and playing shows! We are so psyched to finally shake the rust off and get back on the road after what will have been 16 months away from doing what we love most. We’ll be hitting some of those little pockets of the East Coast that we don’t get out to as often, as well as some spots that we’ve never been out to before."
The boys will also be bringing Brisbane's Deadlights out on the road who are about to unleash their long awaited new record, The Uncanny Valley this May. With that being in said, if you missed out on the band's last tour, this is your first and final warning that tickets for these shows are scarce and bound to sell out in no time when they go on sale this Thursday 8th April at 9am AEST here. Get fucking keeeeen.
