Two weeks into 2020 and we’re off to a crushingly heavy start.
Perth’s industrial groove-core outfit All This Filth have dropped an absolute banger with 'Drowning'. Taken from their album Misery Season, frontman Brendan Preston penned the song after dealing with his own mental health issues.
“Drowning is basically about my terrible mental state. It’s about Depression and the feeling of constantly being dragged below the surface and rising again, only to be hit by another wave. It's relentless. It’s just life for anyone, but made much harder when you’re suffering from a mental illness..”
Just a warning, the video is as confronting as the subject matter, but the issue of mental health is important, we need to keep talking about it and supporting those in need. Check it out below.
The ATF crew are continuing their national tour in support of the West Australian Music Awards nominated album. They kick things off in Perth before hitting a fistful of dates in NSW. Catch the boys on tour and grab a copy of Misery Season HERE
