One of the UK's finest exponents of stoner rock/metal, Orange Goblin have been tearing down venues with their wide-eyed, full-pelt take on the genre for nearly 30 years. The quartet have built their reputation both at home and abroad by refusing to bow to trends and delivering anything but pure, hell-for-leather heavy metal power.
Coming Down Under for their first tour here in over a decade, Orange Goblin's five-night run promises a beer-drenched, feedback-filled, stomping good time. Also joining them on this East Coast run are two of Australia's best - and most diverse - doom/stoner offerings.
The Simpsons-influenced Dr Colossus might sound like a novelty on paper, but their low tuned guitar work and surprisingly catchy material is more than strong enough to turn the heads of even the most ardent Springfield hater. It's no surprise that Dr Colossus are quickly growing their reputation thanks to their great live shows, left-of-centre band theme and massive grooves.

Rounding out the bongwater-soaked tour is Sydney’s two piece feed Astrodeath. Possessing a sound far greater than the sum of their parts, the duo hammer out their mountainous, reverb soaked riffage and drum-work with much aplomb and power - a sure fire way to get the evening started right.
