As one of the founders of the Norwegian black metal scene in 1984, Mayhem became famously known for their controversial history, groundbreaking music, and unparalleled live performances, and in January 2025, Australians will have their opportunity to witness history when these icons grace these shores for their 40th Anniversary.
Mayhem’s 40th anniversary show promises to be a once-in-a-lifetime experience for fans, featuring a setlist that spans their illustrious career, from their groundbreaking debut album, Deathcrush, to the present day. This concert will celebrate the band’s legacy over four decades of musical evolution, which has seen them cement their status as one of the most influential bands in extreme metal by continually pushing the boundaries of the genre. This electrifying live performance showcases a retrospective experience and will include rare footage and iconic photos.
Now, as Mayhem reflects on their legacy, they celebrate their triumphs over tribulations and tragedy with a never-before-seen performance, featuring their biggest production yet and other special surprises!
