The Finnish pioneer of the 'love-metal' genre has announced a tour off the back of his brand-new solo album Neon Noir and he will be heading our way thanks to The Phoenix. We're very excited to see him in the flesh after chatting to him all about the new record.

The vampire gothic rock crooner, quaintly known by the VV moniker, first hit our radars back in the 90s as frontman of the band HIM and has been serenading audiences ever since. As the band has ceased activities, Ville Valo has emerged as a solo artist. With a voice that is smooth like honey and the ability to conduct a symphony of whimsy and seduction with every word sung, the man continues to bless our ears with his baritone five-octave range.
His tour down under will include three Australian dates along the east coast and one across the strait in Auckland. With a repertoire that includes both his solo work and classic songs from HIM, it is time to show off those heartagram tattoos and prepare to melt on the spot.
