Job For A Cowboy Reveal New Album Details + Fresh Single 'The Forever Rot'
After months of teasing and hearsay, Job For A Cowboy have unleashed all the deets on their comeback LP Moon Healer - and thrown in a new single for good measure too. Their first album in almost a decade, the American deathcore-come-death metal legends fifth full length promises to continue the sound explored by the band on 2014's excellent, progressive Sun Eater.
Working again with longtime producer/engineer Jason Suecof on this newest effort, Moon Healer sees the five piece delve even deeper into the world of technical and unconventional metal, harking back to classic experimental acts Gorguts, Cynic and Athiest. New single 'The Forever Rot' highlights this perfectly; the mournful lone guitar intro moves into a thunderous driving groove, while it's expanded bridge and outro brings layers of guitar and bass lines, anchored by the excellent, building work of new drummer Navene Koperweis.

Unleashing their new LP on the 24th of February via the band's longtime label, the legendary Metal Blade Records, Moon Healer promises the next evolutionary step for Job For A Cowboy - and that this reunion is far from a group simply wanting to revisit their 'glory days'. Partnered with the release of comeback single ‘The Agony Seeping Storm‘ back in August, Job For A Cowboy are picking up exactly were they left off some 10 years ago with Moon Healer - and the extreme metal world will be all the better for it.
