As Invent Animate prepares for their arrival on Australian shores this coming August for their upcoming tour with Australian metalcore heavyweights Alpha Wolf, they have begun to conclude the Heavener era with Heavener (Definitive), which includes the original album in full and additional singles, including the brand new 'How We Used To Say Goodbye'.

In regards to Heavener (Definitive), guitarist Keaton Goldwire shared:

“Finishing out Heavener was a really special moment for us. There was such deep self-reflection and proudness that formed into an intense motivation. I don’t think was ever a time where I could say I was inspired by my own band, but this one really sparked something. So we kept writing. The songs we came up with are a true extension of Heavener and give us closure to an era. A new, definitive ending.

Heavener (Definitive) includes the original album in its entirety, plus How We Used To Say Goodbye, recent singles Sleepless Deathbed and Heavener, and a re-imagined version of Without a Whisper. The band will also be offering a premium version of the album on vinyl with a limited-edition D-Side etching, and an embossed jacket with spot gloss and foil stamping. Truly the definitive version of the critically acclaimed album – Heavener.”

The new single, 'How We Used To Say Goodbye' is a melodically enchanting offering which continues to add emotional depth to the already flawless Heavener LP. Frontman Marcus Vik's uniquely haunting vocals offer a lyrically sorrowful message on top of sweeping, layered guitars and mellow drum fills. With some luck, we might be able to witness this latest offering on stages across Australia this coming August. Grab your tickets here.

What does the proceeding chapter for Invent Animate look like you ask? Unfortunately at this time, we don't have the answer that you seek. However, judging by the bands track record since the release of their debut album Everchanger ten years ago, which also holds its own as a contender for the groups strongest album, we can rest easily knowing that what is to come will surely satisfy even the highest of expectations.
