Introducing: Irken Armada Who Explode Onto the Sydney Scene with 'Hospital Road'

The international acclaim for household names such as Polaris, Alpha Wolf, Parkway Drive, and Northlane has propelled Australian heavy music to the forefront, showcasing immense talent on stages worldwide. This surge in popularity has paved the way for many local acts to make their mark. One such act is Sydney metalcore band Irken Armada, who have caught our attention with their latest single, 'Hospital Road.'Since publicly announcing their formation in March, Irken Armada has made a strong start. They have performed alongside premier acts like Diamond Construct, LUNE, and Cancer Bats. Their initial singles 'Your Own Version of Hell' and 'GutterMouth' have also garnered significant attention, amassing over 51,600 streams on Spotify alone at the time of writing. With this in mind, I was eager to check out 'Hospital Road' to see what they have to offer.

The clean vocals and toning throughout the choruses add a touch of serene melody to an otherwise intense and fast-paced track. Punchy drums and clever riffs keep the song catchy, while the breakdowns are expertly crafted to hit hard and keep the energy high. Low and chunky riffs akin to that of Every Time I Die (RIP) will satisfy even the most critical guitar snob and the bellowing screams are *chef's kiss*Irken Armada has made a notable impression as a young band, and I am excited to see where their journey takes them.
