When it comes to storytelling, there is nobody who does it quite like The Gloom In The Corner. Delivering us a wide and complex web of lore and plot twists with a tinge of humour- concept releases have been at the forefront of the band's songwriting since the start. Their latest offering 'The Jericho Protocol' is no exception.Released into the world as the band continues blazing a trail through Europe, the story behind the single is set before the events of their 2022 album Trinity. The single will also be accompanied by a short story, A Reflection, A Thousand Deaths, penned by frontman Mikey Arthur, set to be released on May 29th. With new members Jesse Abdurazak (guitar) and Joshua Clinch (drums) joining Mikey and Paul Musolino (bass), a new chapter of The Gloom In The Corner's story has begun.

The story of 'The Jericho Protocol' follows the main character Rachel Barker’s time in Heaven, a rehabilitation centre known as The Garden Hotel, made to help newcomers to the realm adjust to their new afterlife. Everything begins to take a horrible turn when Rachel discovers they have been killing her over and over again to reset her memories. This happens every single time she fails the rehab process, leading to catastrophic events, and the destruction of the realm. Set to a stunning soundtrack of cinematic strings, relentless breakdowns and dynamic vocals- it provides the ultimate sonic journey through this gruelling tale.
