Alabama metalcore/hardcore band Gideon are f*cking back in a big way. After three long years since their Out of Control record, fans have patiently been waiting for some new material. The album came shortly after their Aussie tour with The Devil Wears Prada and Thornhill, supporting Polaris. Gideon and TDWP even did a cheeky co-headliner sideshow at Melbourne's Plastic.

Anyway, we digress. Today is an exciting day for new music as hard-hitters Gideon have dropped brand new track 'Too Much is Never Enough'. The track is punchy but filled with visceral aggression. The four-piece showcase levelled up production and deliver that superb metalcore x hardcore fusion like peers Kublai Khan TX. Your mind might stay still but your body will be two-stepping early into this one.

Update: Gideon have announced new record MORE POWER. MORE PAIN. out 17 March via Equal Vision.

On the new single, guitarist/vocalist Tyler Riley briefly comments:

"We're done holding our tongues."

On the new record, bassist Caleb DeRusha goes on to say:

"This record is every side of Gideon forged into one. The title says it all — MORE POWER. MORE PAIN."
