It's one of the most spoken about events in Every Time I Die's annual concert calendar and it sells out almost instantly every single year its held - but would the band ever consider taking their infamous Tid The Season Festival on the road like Slipknot do with Knotfest?
When presented with the question during our Virtual Hangs last week, frontman Keith Buckley spoke about how that show itself has become so ingrained in Buffalo's own events that they couldn't possibly take it away from the city that they know and love:
“I think it’s very special to Buffalo because, I mean, the roots there are so deep now that it extends into small businesses within the community, things like that, you know, all the people coming in from out of town and helping the city of Buffalo itself. I think it’s really important for that, I think it’s a mainstay."

However, the thougth had crossed Keith's mind when it came to taking a tour like that across the world and he explained to us the only way that would be possible is if it's a condensed version of the festival itself:
"But I would like to actually have a tour like that, a festival tour that went on the road, absolutely, something like that. But not that specific one!”
And that's totally fair. The way this band talk about and spruik their hometown of Buffalo just makes you want to get on a plane and head to their city to check it all out - and we're not the only ones from Australia who feel that way.
A few months back a local ETIDiot appeared on the Australian version of Who Wants To be A Millionaire talking about getting out of the country to attend Tid The Season at the end of the year (and in the process once again bringing heavy music to mainstream audiences).
When presented with this story again, Buckley explained the band were over the moon with the shout out on national television and reached out to the man in question:
"How awesome was that! We reached out to that guy and I believe we contacted him so yeah we hooked him up!"
With borders opening, gigs returning and the world slowly but surely returning to a post-COVID kinda normal, it's best you look at locking in time off for Tid The Season 2022 because if it's anything like this year's return, it'll well be worth the time it takes to get there - until the band work out how to take it on the road!
