If you missed it yesterday, Dream On, Dreamer announced after 11 years they are officially calling it a day... ok, ok, stop crying again because they've announced one final album, a new single and a farewell tour to end it all on a high note with fans!
The record will be titled What if I Told You It Doesn't Get Better and you can get your hands on it next month on March 27th. The first single from it is called 'Feel So Empty' and knowing what we know now, the track hits much harder than expected.
On the new song, Zachary Britt, (Rhythm Guitarist & Clean Vocalist) says:
“When we were writing this song I guess it came from a pretty low place. We’ve all been through a lot of shit in the last few years and it’s all manifested its way onto our next release in some way or another. I think being in that state of mind needs to be given a name or something to embody it. Some call it their demons. In this song, I named the darkness Reaper. Sometimes we gotta crash and burn all the way to rock bottom before we can push up again. There’s been times I hope to see the bottom. I've been ready to look the reaper in the eye and give him this weight. One piece at a time.

It's such a shame because I reckon the band really found their calling with both Marcel Gadacz and Zac Britt bouncing off each other with their vocals which added a whole new level to their songs, but alas, at least you can give this new one a spin once, twice, maybe even fifteen times back to back to truly appreciate it for what it is.
The band are also heading off on one final farewell tour to celebrate the news, tickets can be grabbed via their website at 12pm today!
