Download Festival are "confident" Ozzy Osbourne's UK Tour Cancellations won't affect his Australia shows
We've been monitoring the news for a while now with rock icon Ozzy Osbourne having to cancel the entire leg of his European No More Tours 2 shows due to several illnesses. The first being his infamous staph infection which he shared with the world on social media.

He also suffered a burst blood vessel in his eye before copping a severe upper respiratory infection which doctors have warned him could turn into something more severe if he doesn't act on it now. He addressed his UK fans on social media stating:
“I’m completely devastated for having to postpone the European leg of my tour. It just seems that since October everything I touch has turned to shit.
First the staph infection in my thumb and now coming down with the flu and bronchitis. I want to apologize to all of my fans who have been so loyal over the years, my band, my crew and to Judas Priest for letting you all down. However, I promise the tour with Judas Priest will be completed. It’s being rescheduled right now to start in September. Again, I apologize to everyone. God Bless. Love you all, Ozzy.”
We reached out to the Download Festival crew to see if these cancellations would affect his upcoming Final Australian Shows at the festival, but they reassured us they're confident it won't:
“We have heard Ozzy has had to postpone some UK and European shows due to a bad flu, Download is well over a month away, we are confident he will be in Australia fit and healthy this March, we wish him all the best with his health and recovery.”
