Cancer Bats Announce Return to Oz + Bat Sabbath Shows
Canadian punk rockers Cancer Bats are coming back down under this June with Sydney's FANGZ along for the ride. The two bands will be hitting up Brisbane, Newcastle, Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne and Adelaide. It promises to be a night of high-octane anarchy.If you peep the tour poster below you'll notice there's extra dates for Sydney and Melbourne already - that's because we are getting dedicated shows by the Cancer Bats cover band alter ego - Bat Sabbath! That's two shows covering Black Sabbath in their own hardcore style.The Bats have been on the road with both projects since 2022's Psychic Jailbreak so it's pretty neat we'll get a great sample of both on this trip. We gave Psychic Jailbreak a whopping 9/10 (review here), so it'll be great to see them belt out these tunes live, along with the Bat Sabbath shows celebrating 2023's Masters of Duality EP.
