What a great day to be a Boston Manor fan! The band's new track 'Container' is our first taste of new music since their 2022 album Datura, and it has been craved. It's the longest we've gone without new music from the band since COVID, and while last year they gave us an Australian tour instead of new music, we have been on the edge of our computer chairs waiting for this.[wpadcenter_ad id='177589' align='center']'Container' is the groovy little emo-rock party song you put on when you want a little scream and dance. It has a lightness to the track compared to songs from Datura, like we've reached the other side of the tunnel, and it's addictive.Of their new track, lead singer Henry Cox says:
"'Container' explores the idea of second chances, the panic that sets in knowing you need to change your world before it's too late, and you get swallowed up and lost forever. It's about the stagnancy of life creeping up on you and how that can bring about change. I think it's really important to write something that people can be immersed in and find some sort of solace in."
The band have said that Datura will have a part two, so is 'Container' an indicator of what that will sound like? I sure hope so. If the teasers Boston Manor have been painting the town with are any indicator, this is their year.https://www.instagram.com/p/C3DqXJPMcti/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==Start spinning this one and get ready for more.
