Bad Omens & Poppy Team Up For 'V.A.N' aka Violence Against Nature
It's been a huge week for collaborations and we're not done yet it seems with BadOmens teaming up with Poppy for a brand new track.'V.A.N', an abbreviation of Violence Against Nature is an electric rock ensemble that showcases the sci-fi soundscapes BadOmens have been tip-toeing through with their last album THE DEATH OF PEACE OF MIND, while utilising Poppy's iconic melodic performance and delivery. It's sexy. Alluring. Energetic. And unmistakably heavy! It also calls for repeat spins - so stop reading and jump back in.On the song's conception, NoahSebastian shared it's:
“A song that started just with the hook ‘Violence against nature’, and then after saving the project with the acronym and seeing it we realised it could be fun to think of ‘VAN’ as a name. Thus the rabbit hole of ideas began that led us to decide to write lyrics from the perspective of an artificial intelligence gone rogue.”
'V.A.N' was written/produced by Sebastian and is the first taste of their upcoming album - the CONCRETE FOREVER project which is currently referred to as CONCRETE JUNGLE OST. The forthcoming project is an experimental extension THE DEATH OF PEACE OF MIND record and the soundtrack within their ‘ConcreteJungle’ comic book universe.
