Jordan Fish is making use of his time well since departing Bring Me The Horizon late last year. Not only has he been seen in studio with Spiritbox, ex-Fever 333 member StephenHarrison and countless others, but he was also spotted with Architects and the song they've been working on together is here.Welcome 'Curse' - a bitey throwback to the band's glory years with 2024 cutting-edge production. Not only did JordanFish assist in the writing process, but he's added his professional flavour to the production - much like he did during his 10 years with BMTH.As for the Architects themselves, they still know how to craft an impressive tune that's new, but feels like some of their biggest hits are flowing throughout - I can personally hear nods to tracks like 'Doomsday' and 'Nihilist' - so the keyboard warriors and trolls will certainly keep their comments at bay (if not, go give 'Seeing Red' another spin until it sinks in).Two new songs, both of which have hit hard and shown us despite Architects' recent venture into melodic metal territory, they can still bash out heavy hitters that'll withstand the test of time.Words by Paul ‘Browny’ Brown@brownypaul
