Can you believe it'll be six years next year since we last caught Alexisonfire in Australia?
Well, the band aren't letting time get away from us anymore with the announcement of their impending return to our shores in February 2023 playing a string of shows in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide (sorry Perth) with Tassie lads Luca Brasi joining in on festivities.
The only band ever have a plethora of new material to showcase for us including 'Familiar Drugs', 'Complicit' and the delectable array of tunes on their fifth studio album Otherness, which dropped back in June (our review here).
When we caught up with the swoon-tastic frontman Dallas Green, he shared his love for Australia and their fans down under:
“I’ve said this many times, it’s one of my favourite places ever to be and go and it all started with that first show in Adelaide with Alexis. That was where the love affair to me was born and I will keep coming back to this/your country for as long as I am humanly possible.”
