Megadeth Officially Part Ways With David Ellefson

It's official, Dave Mustaine has announced bassist David Ellefson will no longer be a part of Megadeath following allegations of sexual misconduct. In a statement of the band's social media, Dave addressed the situation stating "we do not take this decision lightly".

The band have been working on their sixteenth studio album provisionally titled The Sick, the Dying... and the Dead! and it's uncertain if this news will affect the release of that record. Megadeth intend on hitting the road with their forthcoming tour plans all of which come after Dave Mustaine's recent battle with throat cancer.
