Ghost Unveils Sixth Album SKELETÁ with New Papa & Single ‘Satanized’

Ghost’s Las Vegas conclave has ended with the rise of purple smoke confirming Papa V Perpetua the new leader of the congregation. It appears the successful Emeritus line has ended, with the new character (played as always by Tobias Forge) set to front the band for the new album, SKELETÁ, which arrives on April 25 via Loma Vista Recordings.
To herald the new era, the band have released ‘Satanized’. The single continues the traditions of heavy music influenced by Swedish pop melodies and demonic possession. Perpetua confronts the dark forces within himself and succumbs to them. The video is a visual representation of the song’s themes and there’s a bonus - fans can get themselves Satanized! Using the tech behind Elf Yourself, fans can morph themselves into characters from the music video and share them on social media. The retro music video reveals the new Papa has metal hands and we get a brief peak at the new Nameless Goul outfits.
The band have promised that SKELETÁ is a more introspective work, less about the evils of the world and more about the individual looking back at you in the mirror. They will share their new psalms on their forthcoming 55-date world tour, including an appearance at the final Black Sabbath show in June. No Australian dates have been announced yet.
