Australian music is thriving right now with stacks of diversity across so many different genres, the ones we focus on in particular, and one band who have been plodding away behind the scenes (and in the local market of Brisbane) is The Comfort who are FINALLY set to release their debut album What It Is To Be on Friday via Greyscale Records.
The band has had some big breaks over the past few years including scoring two showcase opportunities at Big Sound over the past two years and they've also been announced as the support band for The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus' upcoming Australian Tour... But that's where the praise ends for the four-piece... for now.
As it turns out, one of our prestigious writer/interviewers Michael Parente is the younger brother of The Comfort's guitarist/songwriter Marcus Parente and you can imagine the look on our faces when we found out. So instead of the usual complimentary interview about the album, we sent Michael in with a list of questions written by someone else and set the boys up for an unusual brother vs brother chat full of cheap shots, awkwardness and lighthearted entertainment for all which you can hear in full below.
