D.R.U.G.S. Signal Comeback with Brand New Single 'Hunger Pangs'

The world’s most tumultuous post-hardcore outfit Destroy Rebuild Until God Shows aka D.R.U.G.S. has had one of the most interesting returns to the scene in recent years.

Not only did Craig Owens bounce back into the project during covid with a new lineup – including Aaron Patrick (All That Remains) and Jona Weinhofen at one point, who later left due to creative differences – but they also dropped a highly anticipated follow up to their stellar debut titled Destroy Rebuild.

The band also made their Australian return supporting Escape The Fate and The Beautiful Monument and since then, it’s been a little quiet… until today!

Launching onto DSPs is the brand new song ‘HungerPangs‘ which has all the staple post-hardcore inclusions including Owens’ crispy cleans, bounce-worthy drumming, thumping riffs and static synth that instantly commands your attention after clicking play. For the new school moshers, there’s an easycore breakdown that’ll have you moshing hard without the fear of getting knocked down.

On the new song, Craig shares.

“‘Hunger Pangs’ is a song about an insatiable urge and unquenchable thirst for love. This song is both a new era and return to form for D.R.U.G.S.”

It’s a palatable introduction for the group’s next era, which finds them heading off on tour across the US next month and with a third album in the works. Still no word on who the current lineup consists of, but stay tuned, it won’t be long before all is unveiled.
