At the time of writing this paragraph, Florida metalcore outfit Wage War were prepping to hit the stage at Knotfest in Melbourne, after performing with AskingAlexandria last night. We knew there was new music coming, but the band didn't let on how soon it would be before it premiered... Well, the group have shared their latest track 'Magnetic' and simultaneously given it a live debut at the festival in the process!

The track is a melodic/radio rock jam about not being able to give up someone that's bad news. Both BritonBond and CodyQuistad share vocal duties, focusing more on the clean side as opposed to the growls we know them for. You wouldn't find this one out of place on a Top 40 Countdown as it borders more on the safer side of rock... In saying that though, it's catchy as hell after 3 spins. On the new offering, the band says:

"'Magnetic' is a song about an attraction to someone that you just can't seem to quit... Despite knowing what may be best, we're pulled back to a feeling that inevitably takes control. Fate decides our future."

It's been almost three years since the group released their last album Manic, is it time for a new album cycle to start? What do you think? Give us a rundown on our socials.Take a listen to Cody and Briton chatting all things 'Magnetic' during our Knotfest Podcast here
