Architects Lay The Smackdown on Aggressive New Track 'Seeing Red'

After what can only be described as the biggest year of change and opportunities for Architects, the boys are set to go out with a band with the release of a brand new HEAVY AF single titled 'Seeing Red'.Not only did we catch the guys in Australia at the start of the year (Melb coverage here), but they wowed crowds across the world during EPIC festival appearances and supporting Metallica across Europe - a feat that will go down in history as a turning point for the band when they stepped the fuck up. The band also amicably parted ways with guitarist Josh Middleton, but that hasn't slowed down their trajectory as they deliver a new song to see the year out with.

'SeeingRed' is massive. From the introductory screams and Spiritbox-esque guitar riffs, through to frontman Sam Carter's tasty gutturals and that choir, we're immediately taken back to Hollow Crown-era heaviness with a familiar sound akin to that of the electronic and hard rock elements used throughout the album For Those That Wish To Exist. It's heavy perfection that'll certainly shut the mouths of opposing so-called former fans.Dan Searle's drums are next level. Smacking you in the face with a set of blastbeats towards the third act and keeping up the ferocity until climax. It could arguably be the band's heaviest release in years.
