It’s been a big week for heavy Aussie music at the Forum. Only a few days prior we were covering Thornhill‘s stunning headliner and now it’s The Amity Affliction‘s time to shine as the metalcore four-piece hit the stage for the first of two shows in celebration of their latest album Not Without My Ghosts.
Joining TAA were US superstars Silverstein alongside Aussie supports from Earth Caller and Winnerz Circle. All acts gave their all and without a doubt walked away with stacks of new fans in the process.
The end result of Amity’s set was fantastic with copious amounts of flames, cryo blasts and sparks. The sound was perfect the whole way through, and all I could think was they are better than ever after 20 years in the game.
