After teasing us on socials, the metal men in Machine Head and Fear Factory have unveiled plans to bring their highly anticipated Slaughter The Martøur Tour to Australia in March 2024.
With Machine Head still riding the wave from the release of their killer new album ØF KINGDØM AND CRØWN, fans will be treated to a night of killer riffs when Robb Flynn and co bring their butts down under for the first time in five years and following their cancelled 2020 tour. Forgoing their An Evening With… format for the first time in a decade, you can bet there’ll be plenty of throwbacks and new tunes to keep you hot and sweating all night!
On the news, Robb shares:
“Aussie Head Cases! This tour will be insane!! So stoked to be getting back on the road in Australia and New Zealand with this absolutely earth-shattering bill. Fear Factory have long been our brothers-in-arms, pioneers of a sound that had yet to exist. Oz, we’re ready to crush skulls, crush shoey’s, and crush everything in our path!”
Speaking of Fear Factory, when we caught up with Dino Cazares at Good Things Festival 2022 he alluded the band would be returning to our shores in 2024. Since then the group announced their brand new frontman Milo Silvestro who joined the industrial metal outfit earlier in the year (following Burton C. Bell‘s departure in 2020) and has since been wowing crowds around the globe in the process. The band also re-signed with Nuclear Blast and promised their new album would please fans new and old.
On the joint venture Dino shares:
“We are honored to be touring with the mighty MACHINE HEAD metal, plus Robb has been a good friend of mine for close to 30 years. We are fucking excited for the metal fans to see this amazing package and we can’t wait to get out there. Let’s Fucking Rage!”
