Bring Me The Horizon Deliver The Goods with 'DArkSide'

We may not know when Bring Me The Horizon's next album Post Human: Nex Gen is coming out, but we've got an idea of the various sounds being employed on the record thanks to four previous singles, with 'AmEN!' being the most recent heavy hitter. The following teaser from this upcoming release is here, with brand new single 'DArkSide'.

This song is groovy from the get-go, featuring the familiar ingredients of a more alt-rock Bring Me The Horizon sound. Vocalist Oli Sykes utilises his fundamental screams and singing throughout the catchy chorus and quieter verses as the band masterfully infuses their blend of electronic influences alongside nifty drum beats and ramping guitars. Lyrically, we're in familiar but welcome territory, as Bring Me The Horizon have once again taken personal struggles and created appealing radio rock-esque lines to sing along to.

'DArkSide' allows the listener to further dial in the noise we can expect from the completed and upcoming Post Human: Nex Gen. The thematically familiar soundscapes across their five unique singles have demonstrated that Bring Me The Horizon has still got it, leaving me as eager as ever to dive into what's next.
