Are you ready for the EPIC conclusion of the Download Festival leg of our UK//EU Music Festival Assault?
Day three commenced with Sydney metalcore kings Polaris opening the main stage (Metallica's stage mind you) and making their place in the iconic festival's history alongside the greats before them. Browny and Jacko were front row for their performance and caught up with the band later in the day to talk all about it with frontman Jamie Hails and drummer Daniel Furnari. We also caught up with more Aussies in attendance and Big Al who has been attending the site since way back in the Monsters of Rock years, before wrapping up the day with yet another killer Metallica set.

Day four saw our dynamic duo checking out the metal shops before going hard for the last day of moshing with key bands such as Lorna Shore, Ghost and Hatebreed in our sights. It was also time for Aussie metalcore veterans The Amity Affliction and Parkway Drive to take to the stage, showcasing to the world just how powerful and influential Australia's heavy music scene is right now.
With plenty of WTF? moments throughout, Wall Of Sound's Download Debut was nothing short of life-changing and we hope our coverage encourages you to plan your own adventure to witness what the rest of the world has to offer in terms of music festivals.
We're halfway through our Festival Assault with plenty more to come, until then...
