Earlier this year we received an invite to cover the Australian Invasion at Download Festival 20th Anniversary back in June. The historical event saw the likes of Parkway Drive, Polaris, RedHook, Stand Atlantic, Pendulum and The Amity Affliction hitting the various stages across the mammoth UK festival's grounds, performing in front of thousands upon thousands of punters in the process.
On top of the Aussie inclusions, the festival also sported the likes of Metallica, who headlined both the Thursday and Saturday night, Bring Me The Horizon - who obliterated all expectations with their EPIC Friday night headliner - before Slipknot wrapped up the action in front of 100,000 maggots at the final climax of the 4-day long celebrations.
Wall Of Sound bossman Paul 'Browny' Brown, joined by his trusty sidekick Tourist Wanker Jacko (producer Jackson Darmody), hit the ground running to document as much of the festival's antics as possible, and, caught up with a bunch of fellow Australians who also made the trek over to experience the BIGGEST festival we had ever been to.

The end result will be split into two parts with Part 1 detailing the first two days of Download, including interviews with RedHook and Asking Alexandria + the prelude antics Browny and Jacko got up to in and around London prior to their departure for the music festival mecca.
Think you know Music Festivals? Think again!
Watch in awe as two Aussie music festival aficionados take on the biggest heavy/alternative music festival in the UK but be warned, the end result may just have you booking your own adventure in years to come...
