Damnnnnnnn Daddy Durst!

Every year we get excited about the return of Summer Music Festival Season and the big dog that kicks it all off is Good Things Festival, which is returning for the fourth outing since debuting back in 2018 - and to say they've upped the ante for alternative music would be an understatement.

Firstly the headliners this year will be none other than Fall Out Boy [photo credit Renae Egan] and Limp Bizkit [photo credit Mitch Chamberlain] - two incredible acts with stellar careers dating back to the late 90s/early 2000s glory years, who paved the way for their selected genres to gain international recognition and an ever-growing fanbase of Elder Emos, ageing Millennials and Nu Era cap sporting Gen X'ers. Chances are this time the only thing you'll be breaking will be a hip or a sweat.

But, joining the top-of-the-bill acts will be none other than Devo, who will be at the festival as part of their Farewell Tour - Celebrating 50 Years in the bizz. You know that random, late-afternoon band that stands out like dogs balls BUT pulls a massive crowd? That's this year's contribution and you know you're gonna wanna get in that action! This appearance will also mark the group's FINAL AUSTRALIAN SHOWS, EVER. So do you really wanna miss out on that?

Also featured in the lineup's top half will be I Prevail, Bullet For My Valentine, Mr Solo Corey Taylor, Pennywise, Spiderbait, Slowly Slowly, Enter Shikari, Behemoth, Sepultura, Taking Back Sunday and PVRIS...

Hold up I need a breath...

Wait, is that Kim Kardashian? Sorry, irrelevant. Let's move on...

And rounding up the second half is a cavalcade of heavy/alternative Aussie and international guests including Bloom, Boom Crash Opera, Eskimo Joe, Frenzal Rhomb, Hanabie, Jebediah, Luca Brasi, Magnolia Park, Make Them Suffer, Ocean Sleeper, Royal & The Serpent, Short Stack, Slaughter To Prevail, Stand Atlantic, Tapestry, The Plot In You and While She Sleeps.

Something for EVERY music taste - whether it be heavy metal, pop punk and Aussie indie, all the way to the 80s synth-pop sounds of Devo and Boom Crash Opera - So you better crack that whip in anticipation. But that song is for the n00bs and trend-followers, 'Girl U Want' is where it's at!
