Dream On Dreamer Continue To Embrace Their Comeback with New Track ‘Surrender’

Dream on Dreamer continue to make 2023 their year as they burst back onto the scene after officially announcing their disbanding in 2020 and playing their last show as a group just over one year ago at Melbourne’s Corner Hotel after two years of COVID related delays. The four piece recently announced their upcoming Australian tour to celebrate ten years since the release of their sophomore album, Loveless, officially bringing their inactive status to an end.

Today however, the group has released a brand new track, the first since the release of ‘Hurricane’, which was supposed to be a final swan song from the Melbourne-based group before calling it a day. The new track is titled ‘Surrender’ and manages to take influence from the group’s heavy roots with low-tuned guitars and unclean vocals from frontman Marcel Gadacz while still staying true to the alt-rock sound that we all know and love them for.

Is this the beginning of the next era of Dream on Dreamer or are they only treating us to a new track to coincide with their upcoming tour before returning to their hiatus? Only time will tell, but for now, we have received more than what we could have asked for from the group so let’s sit back and enjoy what we have.

Tickets for their upcoming Australian tour are moving fast so click on this link and don’t miss out.
