MxPx Unload ‘Stay Up All Night’ From Forthcoming Album Find A Way Home

Legends of the Pop-Punk world, MxPx, have kept themselves busy during the mess of the last few years with regular livestreams, the occasional new song such as 2021’s classic ‘Say Yes‘ and ‘Can’t Keep Waiting,’ along with a live album and a run of regular shows around the US – including an upcoming appearance at the second When We Were Young festival in Las Vegas.

Last month they got fans buzzing again with a teaser video for their new album, Find A Way Home, along with a string of sexy vinyl variants and merch ready for pre-order from their website, due to go live this weekend.

Mike Herrera hosted a quick live Q&A on Friday (Australian time) and talked a bit about the long road to the new album stating:

“This is a moment that’s taken a while to get here, and I know you guys haven’t been a part of that process fully, but you’re going to start being a part of that process now.”

When discussing their new single ‘Stay Up All Night‘, Mike added

“The song is about redemption, and making the choice to set things right, this song is positive, it’s classic MxPx, but it has a serious tone to it.”

And he was spot on – It’s a beautiful track with a great message, pure in pop-punk melody and a chorus with a classic guitar punk sound that long-time MxPx fans will dig. The guys have aged well, still sounding modern while embracing the traditional DIY punk spirit, and it sounds like the video will be the first of a string of regular releases in the lead up to the release of Find A Way Home on August 25.
