Ne Obliviscaris Announced a Tour With The Ocean Collective & Rivers of Nihil

Ne Obliviscaris

Picture this – we’re deep in 2021 winter. Tours? We haven’t even been to the post office lately and it’s hellish. Fast forward a couple of years and heavy music touring is basically the lead economic injection we all needed (or didn’t need, am I right Reserve Bank of Australia)?

We digress, the tours are coming in thick and prog-metalers Ne Obliviscaris are doing a lap around the country once again this September (including Adelaide) in support of their latest release Exul. The five-piece are heading down with quite the bill too. Joining the Melburnians are The Ocean Collective and Rivers of Nihil.

If you’ve ever seen The Ocean Collective play live before, you’ll know it’s not only a blast for the ears, but a visual journey too – a total treat for the senses. The German sextet will be performing hits off their latest record Holocene. The progressive soundscapes ahead of you are going to be surreen.

Finally, it’s worth doing some homework (if necessary) on Rivers of Nihil. The Pennsylvanian tech-death metalers were just announced to support Lorna Shore around Europe and the UK – so you know they’ve got some street-cred. They’ll be sporting bangers off 2021 album The Work, but also some even fresher tunes including single ‘The Sub-Orbital Blues‘.

What. A. Lineup. You’re going to want to gift yourself (or someone special to you who wears all black) a ticket to this unforgettable prog-slog.
