Another day, another Short Stack song that proves the band were always better than their soiree with commercial radio/mainstream success...
The boys are back following the release of their return-to-form album Maybe There’s No Heaven last year with a headline tour and new track 'Shotgun Wedding' which frontman Shaun 'DILF' Diviney shares:
“We wanted to write a really fun, 90s pop punk song influenced by the bands we grew up listening to... blink-182, NOFX, Good Charlotte kind of vibes. We really wanted it to be fast and energetic, I love Bradie’s drums just powering through the whole song.”
And he's not wrong, the new song is a pop punk jam with elements injected throughout (even +44 vibes fill my earholes), proving just how diverse this band can be, especially when they focus more time on punk and less on hairspray.

In celebration of the single, the band will also be hitting the road alongside Jenna McDougall's incredible solo project Hevenshe and the darlings in The Beautiful Monument throughout October/November hitting up places off the main circuit including Traralgon, Cairns, Gosford and Pooraka.
