Falling In Reverse Tackle Papa Roach’s ‘Last Resort’ in Balladesque Reimagining

Falling In Reverse Papa Roach Last resort reimagined

When he’s not dominating the charts with his own arsenal of heavy/core hits, Mr Falling In Reverse himself Ronnie Radke is showing off his dulcet tones with his collection of reimagined tracks from his career which has consisted of ‘The Drug In Me Is You‘ and ‘I’m Not A Vampire‘. But before you get your knickers in a knot, he’s been working on melodic-focused tracks since the release of 2017’s album Coming Home so this isn’t exactly new ground…

Now, he’s tackled the Para Roach classic ‘Last Resort’ by giving it an updated balladesque rendition that’s absolute fire from start to finish. Showcasing his highs with an alluring piano soundtrack beside him, the offering shows a lighter side to Ronnie’s performance which goes to show the levels this man has when he’s not screaming/rapping his way into our lives.

“I wanted to reimagine one of the biggest rock songs of the last 20 years, because lyrically, it is so powerful and resonates,” says Ronnie. “I got the blessing from [singer] Jacoby [Shaddix] and I think that Papa Roach are one of the nicest, humble, and most down to earth bands to date and it inspires me to keep going, since they have been so successful for so many years. This is me paying homage in the best way I know how.”

I think it’s great when musicians show diversity and don’t just release the same old shit each and every time. Plus, it’s a bonus when Papa Roach are the centrepiece of this homage.
