Darwin turned Melbourne based act Tapestry are having quite a moment in the spotlight as they prepare to drop their upcoming debut album The Pain You Desire, The Love You Deserve which hits our ears mid August. The group who are currently on tour with melodic metalcore giants, Thornhill have gifted us with with another track titled 'Descent' and it features the ever-so-talented Jono Hawkey from Sydney based melodic hardcore up and comers, Bloom.
The track is both melodic and heavy as it seemingly pulls influence from U.S group, Sleeping With Sirens - especially due to the striking similarities of vocal styles between Tapestry vocalist Tom Devine-Harrison and Sleeping With Sirens vocalist Kellin Quinn. Hawkey flourishes in the limelight throughout his guest appearance as he nails through his section faultlessly, adding further depth to the track on multiple facets.
You can witness Tapestry performing 'Descent', along with every other song on their upcoming album The Pain You Desire, The Love You Deserve, at The Leadbeater Hotel in Melbourne on July 28th. Purchase your tickets here.
