The tours are coming in thick. In case you missed it, Cape Cod-formed rock band Highly Suspect will be returning to Australia's East Coast and New Zealand in November 2023.
Highly Suspect will be playing hits off 2022 record The Midnight Demon Club as well as bangers off their back catalogue, including albums Mister Asylum, The Boy Who Died Wolf and MCID; all of which have amassed millions upon millions of streams collectively, a statement to the band's musicianship and the loyalty of their fans!

Now, we know what you're thinking, who is this band and why did their New Zealand pre-orders sell out in 2 minutes? The anthemic indie/rap/rock hybrid cannot be simply cast into one specific genre alone, but to help their cause, they've supported the likes of Muse, scored three Grammy nominations since their conception in 2009 and invited Spiritbox to open for them in 2022, so that's stating something.
The band will make appearances on the upcoming Shiprocked Cruise in 2024, and Blue Ridge Rock Festival in September (alongside a plethora of acts from across the globe), before jetting down to New Zealand and Australia for our turn to see what the fuss is about.
Highly Suspect were added to The Rock in NZ, which in turn boosted their presence across the ditch - if you're wondering why radio hasn't jumped on them down under, it's because the industry is a bit gatekeeper and they don't like taking risks with new acts. But when you've sold 6,000 tickets and keep having to increase venue capacity with upgrades or put on new shows, you know the demand is there, regardless of what the industry is saying.
