Woe, Is Me Are Officially Back With New Music, Stream ‘Ghost’

The year is 2010. You’ve only streamed Number[s] seventeen times today and it’s already time to get ready for your night job. Feeling the nostalgia yet? Seven-piece metalcore group Woe, Is Me from Atlanta are back with new music for the first time in a decade.

Mid-last year the band made their epic return to the live stage, and played a total of two shows in Dallas and Atlanta, including setlist throwback tracks ‘A Story to Tell‘ and ‘[&] Delinquents.

Around that time, Woe, Is Me teased new music for 2023 and then went quiet for a little bit. Well, that little bit is over, and we’ve finally got a brand new song to stream from the boys – their first release since 2013 EP American Dream, following 2012 sophomore record Genesi[s].

The new single is called ‘Ghost‘. The three minute track has Woe, Is Me bounce back into digital streaming platforms with a melodic-driven opening as clean vocalist Hance Alligood makes his return to the mic. Despite a few chorus crescendos, the resurgence is low-key until the final minute where we get some heavy nostalgia with a delicious little breakdown.

Spin the new single at midnight local time.
