The Word Alive Stream Fresh Release ‘New Reality’

We’re going on three years since The Word Alive released 2020 record Monomania featuring singles like ‘No Way Out‘ and ‘Burning Your World Down‘. Since then, the Arizonian metalcore group dropped singles ‘Wonderland‘ and subsequently ‘Nocturnal Future’ in 2022 – their first without guitarist Tony Pizzuti and drummer Matt Horn, who both departed the band during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Word Alive are currently touring with Jose DelRio on guitar, keyboard, programming and backing vocals as well as Daniel Nelson on drums. A brand new track has surfaced today, titled ‘New Reality‘ and we’re not sure whether DelRio and Nelson were part of recording sessions or not. Nonetheless, let’s check it out.

With Telle Smith‘s exaggerated vocal edit ominously emerging, The Word Alive bounce into the track with impeccable production and high energy. With an immediately catchy chorus, the band revitalise their sound with deep mixing that packs a punch. It’s a welcome return for the 15-year old outfit and we’re looking forward to what else they’ve got cooking.
