Slipknot Release Ominous ‘Yen: Director’s Cut (Bone Church)’ Video & Single

After a third of a year to digest Slipknot‘s highly anticipated 2022 release The End, So Far, the masked metal Gods have spun up an interesting new tune for us to stew on. Single #3 and track #4 on their seventh record was ‘Yen‘ and is integrated with what feels like a fresh B-side or interlude.

Yen: Director’s Cut (Bone Church)‘ is a video with accompanied ‘Bone Church‘ single, written when the band were touring the .5: The Gray Chapter album and the track is an eerie six-minute release that’s reminiscent of a tour opener. This one covers the art and underside of Slipknot that no one talks about, but many can’t help but appreciate in its beauty.

On ‘Yen: Director’s Cut (Bone Church)‘, Shawn ‘Clown’ Crahan comments:

“On the road, we have a “jam room” set up backstage at every show, where we play, practice, warm up and sometimes try out new ideas. Bone Church started life in a jam room on the .5: The Gray Chapter tour. We’ve been bringing it closer and closer to life ever since, and finally, here it is. This one is for the fans – a further vision deeper into Slipknot’s history, which is still being written. Enjoy.”

Catch Slipknot at Australia’s inaugural and very own Knotfest this April.
