Remember Sanzu? These death metalers have returned after some time away for a few years, and they're one of the best that have come out of Perth, WA. The last album the band released was Heavy Over The Home from back in 2015, but they've just emerged with a couple of new ripper tracks.
In December, Sanzu's big returning track was 'Throne of Rope' which saw the heavy outfit return with nostalgic droney death metal sounds. They've now shared second single 'Cultivate' which blends in influences from Deafheaven (like they've often done) and included their own unique deathly flavours.
It's great to see the return of these Western Aussies and we can't wait to hear what else they have in store for 2023. It looks like we might get a new record titled Our Behaviour When Drowning at some point too.
