2023 has started with a wave of deathcore, particularly with Thy Art Is Murder's Decade of Hate Australian tour with very special guests Whitechapel, Chelsea Grin and SPITE. After some huge sellout shows, Ricky Aarons sat down with TAIM's guitarist and our good pal Andy Marsh for a yarn about the shows and also what the band's got in store for the year.
With the full video interview coming soon to Wall of Sound TV, we just had to share a little scoop Marshy gave us about how soon new tunes are coming from Thy Art Is Murder. After he alluded to multiple releases this year, we delved in and offered the notion of an EP as well as the new album they've been hinting at, and he responded very openly with:
"Yeah, [there] might be an EP in a couple of weeks. We've got some stuff, I got the masters the other morning... Let me get through this tour first and I'll try put something together."
