As the world slowly returns to normal, we're starting to see a major influx of bands heading back down under to make up for lost time over the past two years and if your appreciation for heavy lands in the extreme metal categories, you're gonna wanna get your eyes and ears on this new festival!
Making its debut on Saturday, March 18 at Melbourne/Naarm's The Croxton Bandroom will be Into The Fall - spearheaded by Lochlan Watt (Triple J's The Racket) and Matthew Chalk, the initial date boats a stack of local and international guests, guaranteed to leave you with a severe case of whiplash the following day including Germany's tech-death metal act Obscura, alongside the Aussie debut of US band Gatecreeper as joint headliners, with Undeath, an exclusive performance from American slam group Stabbing, and British thrashers Cryptic Shift.

From the land down under, we have Inverloch making their return to the stage, joined by Freedom of Fear, Altars, Carcinoid, Resin Tomb, Pestis Cultus and Growth showcasing their heaviest tunes for those keen and eager to throw down.
Organisers hope the first event is received well, because they've got plans to expand following the debut appearance of the festivities.
The inaugural edition of a new Australian metal festival is here to quench your thirst for extremity. Melbourne based, but global in scope, INTO THE FALL will begin its long, slow death on March 18, 2023 with a single action-packed day at The Croxton Bandroom.
Tickets go on sale 10:30 am local time on Friday, January 13th.
