S8NT ELEKTRIC have released their new song ‘All I Do’ just in time for Christmas and the LA five piece have dropped a new video to go along with it. The clip starts candidly with the lads singing a Happy Birthday to lead singer Briana Carbajal before getting in the van and taking off to Joshua Tree to partake in activities that I can only imagine to be wholesome in nature.
‘All I Do’ is a great soundtrack for this trip through the desert. What starts as a gentle guitar and vocal intro kicks into a groovy highway-driving rock number when drummer London Hudson taps that high hat three times, bringing the rest of the lads in on the action. What follows is a fun, cruisey tune that’ll have punters dancing side to side with arms raised. Lyrically this is a love letter from guitarist Niko Tsangaris to his vocalist muse and it goes perfectly with the film clip. There’s a lot of heart in this one, filled to the brim with all the trimmings of young love. But not so much that it’ll make you gag.
Briana’s love of Gwen Stefani is evident from the get go, with the song sounding like a raw version of ‘Don’t Speak' by No Doubt. For me, it’s the best song they’ve released in some time, and should be a solid part of their album whenever they get around to releasing it.
