I hope you're happy reading this because I launched myself out of bed and am currently nursing a burnt throat due to pouring boiling hot coffee down it in an attempt to wake up... But enough about me ;)
Nikki Sixx of the infamous hair metal gang Motley Crue has confirmed the band will be bringing their World Tour back to Australia for the first time since their... final... tour... back in May of 2015.
In a tweet posted early this morning, the icon revealed:

While no dates have been revealed, we can already predict stadiums and football field sized venues across the country being utilised for their return - which should also feature Def Leppard who they've been playing these World Tour shows alongside, and potentially another special guest with Alice Cooper, who has joined the two leading bands on their first US 2023 tours announced back on December 9th. Joan Jett and Poison have also tapped in and out of their touring schedule, so who knows what kind of rendition we'll see down under. This is pure speculation so don't quote me on that final lineup.
One thing's for sure, guitarist Mick Mars won't be making the trip down as he has announced his retirement from live shows via the band's socials. In his place, the band have asked Rob Zombie guitarist (and solo shredmaster himself) John 5 to take on the riffage, so depending on his schedule, we may be able to catch him tearing up the stage alongside Vince, Tommy and Sixx.

Stay tuned for more, but start grabbing ample bottles of hairspray in anticipation.
