It's already been a couple of years since The Acacia Strain dropped studio album Slow Decay, preceded by a series of two-track singles (with each titled a single letter of the word 'decay'), dropped as breadcrumbs. Their tenth record was monstrous and delivered a level of heaviness not many could comprehend.
Reigning from Massachusetts, the five-piece have dropped a brand new track called 'Untended Graves'. The new release lasts just two-minutes but will punch you in the throat from start to finish with its intensity. With crossover elements throughout like hardcore and death metal, The Acacia Strain once again remind the world they're bringing the ruckus.
"'UNTENDED GRAVES' is a good example of our current collective writing, with some added perspective that was injected into the band recently, as well," says the band. "It will be a fun one to play live next spring. However, as usual with us, it's no indication of what’s to come."
