Pincer+ arrived fresh on the scene out of Perth just a couple of months ago with the announcement of their signing to Greyscale Records, and already they have made a massive impression with their November debut EP release, Hunting God Tapes. Vol. 1: Violence.
Sonically anchoring their roots in aggressive hardcore while breathing new life into the genre with its eclectic influences, 'ANGELDUST' lead the way before 'Ugly On The Skin' made its entrance via triple j's The Racket shortly after. The band also played their first gig supporting Justice For The Damned and Kublai Khan on the hometown show.
The feisty collection was impressively produced, written and recorded with in-house producer and guitarist Josh Ang, with drum and vocals recorded with Ethan McPherson at Sumo Sound Studios (Shangrila) with mix and mastering credits from George Lever of G1 Productions (Loathe, Thornhill, Pridelands).
