New Years Day Reemerge with Riff-City Song 'Hurts Like Hell'

They've been laying low since the pandemic slowed down their forward trajectory but hard rockers New Years Day have made a triumphant comeback with their riff-driven track 'Hurts Like Hell' - a heavy rock anthem for broken hearts. The single follows on from 2019's album Unbreakable - which set the band up for global domination.
Combining edgy guitars, synthesizers and the infamously two-toned frontwoman Ash Costello's alluring vocal delivery, this has all the makings to be a huge room filler in the rock scene. The band has been on tour throughout the US with the likes of Halestorm and In This Moment and I can't help but think they've all rubbed off on each other because this one screams girl power and reclaiming the narrative following a toxic relationship's ending.
If you're not screaming the words "I MUST BE OUTTA MY MIND / CAUSE WHEN YOU DIG IN THE KNIFE /I KINDA I LIKE IT /LIKE IT WHEN IT HURTS LIKE HELL" you're not listening right!
Hook in kids!
