Wildheart Showcase Collective Talent in ‘Heartbreaker’ Live Music Video

It’s been a huge year already for Brisbane/Meanjin locals Wildheart, who are still riding on the success of their debut album Global Crisis and their appearance at UNIFY Gathering. But the show ain’t over yet with plenty still to come for the melodic-hardcore group with another BIGSOUND appearance penciled in next month and their well-deserved multi-category nominations (including Artist, Song, Video, Release, and Live Act of the Year) at the Gold Coast Music Awards on September 3.

Following support slots for the likes of Alpha Wolf and Void of Vision, the band have kindly let us share their new LIVE music video for the song ‘Heartbreaker‘ – which encompasses the band’s on-stage performances, tightknit musicianship and thought-provoking lyrics.

On the new video, the band shared:

“‘Heartbreaker’, taken from the album Global Crisis, is a little more melodic than other tracks on the record and we always wanted to do something special with it like a live music video. Our friend James Latter did a great job with the filming and editing of this clip, with additional footage from Dalton Collis, and we’re stoked with the final product.”

Drummer Andrew Cooke adds:

“We feel this video is a really nice recap of the first 6 months of 2022 for Wildheart, and we can’t thank everyone enough for the support shown for this band over the past 12 months since we announced the album. We were really grateful to be able to join our friends in Alpha Wolf and Void of Vision at their Brisbane shows, and really demonstrate our energy and passion for live performance on the big stages. This also goes for the opportunity to play at UNIFY Gathering in March, which was one of the best weekends of my life! If this is what the first 6 months of 2022 looked like, we can’t wait to see what the rest of the year holds.”

Talking about that future, the band are hitting the studio soon for a yet-to-be-announced project they “can’t share any other details on” so keep your eyes peeled and get keen to see these lads explode come 2022’s climax!
