Hevenshe AKA Jenna McDougall Unveils Second Single 'Trying Not To Feel'

How great does it feel to have a small burst of Tonight Alive energy amongst us once again in 2022? Earlier this year, frontwoman Jenna McDougall re-emerged back into the music scene with bluesy/folk/pop project, Hevenshe, debuting with 'No One Will Ever Love You'.

This week, she's followed it up with an equally as cool track 'Trying Not To Feel', and if you dug Tonight Alive's earlier work on The Other Side this will sit right up your alley. Despite giving you that ultimate euphoric feeling, the track sounds like a soaring yet wholesome festival number that you could just hear being rocked on massive stages as well as more intimate settings like Crowbar Sydney. Recall Jenna's recent chat wth Browny about Hevenshe, she does hope to take this empowering solo project everywhere:

"I still see this project absolutely tearing up stages. I can’t wait for people to hear every shade of Hevenshe! The songs were written for a mix between festival stages and crying with headphones on. I think Hevenshe can be everything! But if I ever get to play a headline slot on a festival in the rain that would be the pinnacle experience of the new music for me!"

If Knight & Day returns for NYE 2022/23, we reckon Hevenshe will make for the perfect setting to debut this on the festival stage. Uh-oh, did we just get the Rolling Coverage for Knight & Day festival started...?
